A cross is certainly appropriate for a personal heraldic display, but the
problem with a cross as a site token is that everyone is 'forced' to wear a
religious symbol in order to participate fully in the event.  It probably
isn't offensive to most people at an event, but it is the *few* that we are
concerned about here.

I think that it would be bad form to use it as a site token, and in
violation of SCA guidelines.
