Subject: Intrepid, Doughty and BRAVE Fighters needed Desperately

Greetings Everyone.

I write to you this day to tell you of a terrible need for extremely
brave
Fighters, ones who can face anything, take on the worst life has to offer
in
the pursuit of fighting and fun, against incredible odds and unceasing
enemy
blades. Does this sound like you? Are you ready to give your all to face
a
terrible host of enemy? Then do I have a job for you....

Every year at Children's Fete, fighters volunteer to mock-battle against
all
comers (children) with foam swords, and put up token resistance as they
are
thoroughly trounced. This year, Kingdoms are sending their own
"Champions"
to particpate, and it would be terrible if YOUR kingdom fell down on the
job. Therefore, I am asking those who find themselves free during the
hot,
sweaty afternoon of Wedneday of War week to come over to the shady -barn
between noon and four, where not only will there be a target-rich
environment, but the lemonade and cookies will be flowing freely. Be sure
to
wear your Kingdom or Household colors, so that your enemy may recognise
you!

You may reply to me at this address with questions until midnight tonight
(Thursday)--after that point, I'm out of here for Pennsic, so reply is
unnecessary (and my address will have changed to MtnLion at ptd.net). If you
are interested in helping out, you can just show up! That's Wednesday the
18th from noon to four in the barn(only an hour or two is needed from
each
volunteer).

Please forward this missive wherever it will generate interest, and be
sure
that your kingdom sends a champion to be represented.

Thanks, everyone, for their incredible support of the Fete and Children's
services again this Pennsic. Once again, WE ROCK! And, more imoprtantly,
we
take care of our kids.

Yours In Service
