You're right, I didn't really think of that until after I had fired off
the post.  I didn't want to pay for a full subscription since I'm out of
the area and probably wouldn't be reading it that often (if ever :-),
but I emailed the paper to see if they have any kind of a "one time"
option.

We bought a copy, but I'd be a bit uncomfortable "reprinting" something 
that is surely copyrighted, since it was only published yesterday. It's
a cute article--author actually got most of his? facts right, and 
he obviously had a sense of humor. ;o)
