:-                Dub Essa's spleenectomy went well.  It was a more 
:-involved surgery than planned, as her spleen had pretty well fused to 
:-her other organs.  She will be in the Surgical ICU at University 
:-hospital overnight, and then move to a room after that.  The best 
:-news is that her post-surgery platelet count was 212, and that's the 
:-best it's been in 3 1/2 yrs.
