Not attending Pennsic???  Here’s something to tempt you.

 

The Shires of Silver Keep, Stan Wyrm and Castelleone, in combined effort, announce Montana’s largest event and the Northern Regions first time Equestrian and Hound Activities!!!!!!!!

 

4, yes 4, days of fun with your friends and comrades. There will be activities for everyone.

 

The schedule is as follows:

 

Thursday

9:00 – site open to set up crew

12:00 – site opens for vendors

3:00 – site open to public

Evening open for heavy fighters

 

Friday

9:30 – Hounds lure course

10:00 - Rapier client tourney starts

10:30 – Horse classes begin. Classes in mounted drill, sword and spear games... rider authorizations will take place prior to the gaming. Plan on 2-3 hours

11:00 – Rapier barroom brawl begins after client tourney

Client craft activities begin – making crowns, shields

12:00 – lunchtime – finishing Rapier stuff

1:00 – Archery begins – Royal Round and William Tell

Heavy fighting begins with Pas de Arms

Continues with: barrier & challenge fights

Ends with favor and Rose Tourney

2:00 – House dragon quest

3:00 – continuation of archery and heavy

4:00 – Paper making for littles with Novella and Beatriz

5:30 – Belly dance for littles with Novella and Beatriz

7:00 – Chess for teens with Wulf, Fighter Auction

8:00 – adult belly dance class with Arwen

9:30 – Hafla, Torch light tourney.

 

Saturday

9:30 – Hounds lure course

         Rapier Melees

           Teen Illumination class with Kinga

10:30 – Horses begin Warm-up mounts, class in lance games (tilting at rings and the

quintain).

11:00 – open children's activities

11:30 – Needlepoint for teen with Matilda

12:00 – Parade to jousting – combined with lunch. Join us for a Jousting Spectacle. Everyone is welcome to process with us... hounds, kids, bagpipes etc. Bring your picnic and comforts, and let us entertain you.



12:30 – Jousting. A Jousting Spectacle... demonstrated by authorized SCA equestrians only.

1:00 – Archery begins

           Heavy fighting pit/corridor battle

1:30 – Heraldry for kids with Wulf

2:00 – Heavy fighting continues with open field battles and meat grinder battle

3:00 – Children's games begin

           House Dragon Mead testing

6:00 – Beer Pit

11:00pm – House Dragon secret Bardic.

 *PLEASE NOTE*

Yaasamiin will haul a few of her mounts for rental use. They are trained to the games and will give you an honest ride. Each mount can be shared by two riders.  Prearrangement for their use is a must to ensure availability,i.e., she will not haul extra horses in hopes that someone will want to rent them.
