When I spoke with them I got the destint impresion is was a "low budget"
film.  That being they do not have a whole lot of money to pay for Talent,
Crew, equipment and as such extra's.

It is not a real surprise as it is common for this sort of thing with many
independant films.

Well, I guess I'm not too surprised at the lack of response.  Most SCA folks
I know have to work for a living.  This company is not offering any pay -
and I'm sure is expecting to *make* money on the film.  Besides - it doesn't
sound like whoever wrote the casting call is all *that* knowledgeable about
history:  No bright red or pink????  Both colors are documentable to far
earlier than the time this film would protray.  

I guess I've got to the point where 'gives us your time and effort and
travel costs, and we'll feed you' smacks of being taken advantage of...
