Baronial Collegium
Loch Salann
January 29, 2005

The old year is dying and a new year is fast coming upon us. Each year
brings new life and new challenges to the populace of the Barony of Loch
Salann and, indeed, to all the Kingdom of Artemisia. To prepare for
this new year, Their Excellencies of Loch Salann have called for a day
of learning. The call goes out to all those of the Kingdom who have
skills to share and a desire to learn. Many have already answered the
call and classes are being prepared. Come, join us in this day that
will prove to be very education and insightful to all. Join us for a
day of costuming and calligraphy, gaming and dancing, feasting and
perhaps even fighting.

There is no scheduled fighting as of now, however, there is space
outside for fighting to happen. If you are interested in running a
tournament, please contact the autocrat at aravis at softcom.net If there
is no tournament, the outdoor area will still be available for fighting.

If you are interested in teaching a class or have a class suggestion,
please contact either Lady Bronwyn Morgan at moas at lochsalann.org or
Maestro Niccolo Gianfigliazzi Genovese at bapadget at yahoo.com

Mistress Elyn will be hosting a library corner. In this area various
books will be available for perusal within the appointed space. She is
asking that if you have any books of SCA interest that you would be
willing to leave at the library for the better education of all, you
bring them. The library corner will be supervised by someone throughout
the day, so books will be sure to return to their owners in the same
condition they were brought in. If you have any questions, please
contact Mistress Elyn at Loch Salann fighter practice or email the
autocrat and I will be sure to get your question to her.

Lunch will be available for a small fee. The meal will include soup,
crackers, rolls, and sweet nibbley bits.

In the evening there will be a feast. The menu will be presented
soon. Feast is capped at 75 people, please send your reservations to
the autocrat at aravis at softcom.net Pre-payment is not required for feast.
