Greetings Lords and ladies all. Seems to me the weather at upriseing will be the same as it always is, rain, then sun later on friday or saterday.but i hope its not like last year with almost 43 hours of straight rain. I like the local forcast best :) hope its right, There is a cheveron station just on the Utah side of the border if your are going north from Salt Lake past Ogden Brigham ect.thats should get you to Idaho Falls, if not I think it is Pocatello thats is about half way from the boarder to Idaho Falls. Hope to see you all there.
                                                                           Fentyr.

The aurora display on May 15 was visible as far south as Arizona (on the
horizon.) Melissente, Lady Dairiene and I drove to a dark place near Shelby
(Wyndgate) and stood outside for nearly an hour to watch it. Incredible!
Best regards,
Caryn

Hi, everyone.
I know may people will be busy Friday afternoon at Uprising, but I am
still planning to host a scribe's meet-and-greet on Friday from 3 to 5
pm in the Royal Encampment.

Bring something to nibble on if you want, a beverage, yourself, and
your portfolio if you have one. This is open to everyone, including
those "just interested" in the scribal arts, so bring your friends!

You can stop by for a few minutes or the whole time - I just wnat
everyone to have a chance to meet and visit.

Hope to see you there!!
Thea

Greetings to the Gentles of the Known World,

Here is a copy of my Florilegium article for June, detailing what is new in
the Florilegium this month.
Thanks,
Stefan
----
A Blending of the Past and Present

Over the past sixteen years in an ongoing effort, I have been collecting
bits of useful information from various newsgroups, mail lists and articles
submitted to me by their authors. In order to make
this information available to others, I have placed this information in a
series of files I call Stefan's Florilegium.

The Florilegium is on the web at: http://www.florilegium.org

I am always interested in new articles. If you have written an article that
would be of interest to others in the SCA, please send it to me for possible
inclusion in the Florilegium. Contact me for more details.

I am also interested in volunteers who might be interested in helping me
maintain the Florilegium. Everything from collecting materials, editing and
web work is needed. Again, please contact me for more
details.

For those who would like to help support the Florilegium project in another
way, I have added a PayPal donation button on the top page of the site. Any
donations, while not tax deductible, do help pay the
overhead costs of keeping the site running.

THLord Stefan li Rous Ansteorra stefan at florilegium.org

Hello All,

The local new weather guy said it's supposed to be stormy Mon and Tues and
then gradually clearing up. Temps in the high 60's, lows in the high 30's.
It's raining right now here in Idaho Falls.

Don't know if the local news is more or less accurate than the other info
that the others have provided......but it is a bit more info for your use.

Alan

For the gentles who have traveled the road to Uprising many times:
Where is the best place to buy gas along the route through Thousand Eyes?
I'm driving from Loch Salaan, and I figure my tank will be running low on
the outskirts of Idaho Falls.

The car's not fussy about a particular brand or additives; I usually buy 85
octane at the Flying J.

Very glad I have
a cabin for the week,
Aurora de Portugal
