[Artemisia] folks going places

I have to side with Bart on this. There are probably a number of newer players on this list, and to chastise someone for travelling far and not playing locally seems to me to be wrong and give the wrong impression. Travel in such a spread out Kingdom has always been encouraged and sometimes the weekend's you have off may not fall on the same one as local events. I like to support local events, but they are not always at the same time I can go.

I cannot see why "people travelling to events without attending local
meetings" would be any sort of problem at all for this completely
volunteer organization. You cannot force people to participate in a
way they cannot or choose not to do. It must come from them -- that is
the basis from which we start.

I, for one, was very glad to see the two gentles mentioned in a previous
post. Must I be forced to wait for them to fulfill a local attendance
quota before crossing swords with them again?

Respectfully submitted,
