[Artemisia] Question about Letters and AoA's

The golden "A" is a medallion representing the award of arms in this
Kingdom. It only is given when an Award of Arms is bestowed. The "A" and
belt and dagger are Artemisian traditions - I have never heard of other
Kingdoms that do anything quite like that.

When did this start?
