Tournament of the Dragon's Tear XXI 2005 **** Updated****

We, the Shire of Stan Wyrm do request your presence at Dragon's Tear XXI.

We have a Plethora of activities planned including rapier tourneys, archery, games, and our annual Tournament of the Dragons Tear. Our shire champion has devised some interesting tournament scenarios to test your mettle on the field and off, consisting of a heavy round robin tourney followed by a stone
throw and speed chess. The Dragon's Tear tournament will be a Booty Prize. Each person wishing to enter will need to bring a small item to place in the booty pile. The winner will receive the booty and may redistribute the booty as he or she sees fit. As tradition holds true, this tournament will decide who will be our Heavy Shire Champion. The shire member that finishes the best will be appointed Shire of Stan Wyrm Heavy Champion. The tournaments will be fought in the brand new Rotary Club Centennial Pavilion, which means that there will be shade for the Tournaments.

The 21st Tournament of the Dragon's Tear will be held at our traditional Camp Rotary just outside of Great Falls, MT. This site has showers, privies and a meeting hall. Cabins are available but these will fill up fast so let us know as soon as possible if you will want cabin space. Cabin reservations will only be held for pre-paid registrations. There is also plenty of space for pavilions and tents as well. This site is wet for those over 21. Pets must be leashed at all times, with a human attached and are not allowed in the hall or kitchen areas. Fires are permitted in the two established fire pits and above ground fire pits will be allowed. Site opens at 2 p.m. on Friday and closes at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday. Come join us in our 21st year of a wonderful tradition.

We would like to invite all merchants to join us this year. No fees will be required but we will ask that each merchant donate an item for the Shire's auction. There will also be an impromptu bardic outside of the hall Friday night for those seeking entertainment and good company.
