As the days of my errantry as bearer of the Shield of Chivalry draw swiftly to a close and I prepare to remit this honor back unto the crown that others may know this duty. My thoughts do turn unto what this honor represents; great deeds of arms, courtesy, self mastery and the ladies that inspire us above all that is base. Therefore to pay homage to those things which this honor represents and to those forbearers that have carried forth this symbol before me, and inspired by the worth and beauty of those ladies whom have allowed me to bear their favors upon the field of honor I shall turn myself to such a Quest as will do them great honor.

By this all may know that the names of her Grace Caryn Von Katzenberg her Royal Majesty Esabell Grant and that of my light, Her Ladyship Sajah al Sharaziyyah do shine chiefly among those who do inspire chivalry and gallantry in these current middle ages.

Therefore in the month of September in the shire of Cote du Ciel at the celebration of their successful harvest, let all men at arms, be they knight, squire or common yeoman, yet all being in good faith with their Sovereigns, come to the place that I abide on the Field of Honor with picket, barrier and shaded gallery. I shall joyously receive all challenges whilst bearing for the Shield of Chivalry, for contests between One and Ten Blows received. All hearty men of cote armor who seek honorable advancement will be gifted with a prize to present to the one that inspires you. The names of all challengers will be writ in a book so that all may know these gentles are worthies that aided me in this quest.

I ask that all who should seek out honorable advancement seek me out at this place that these tenants may be observed and great deeds may be done.

 Yours,
The Honorable Lord Robert le Raven Macleod
