[Artemisia] Bloody Red Roses

Greetings All,

For those of you who are interested in the Wars of the Roses, there is a 
book out called Bloody Red Roses.  It is about a mass grave from the Battle 
of Towton.  Basically, the graves were exhumed because of modern 
construction, and so an archeological study was done.  The skeletons were 
examined for injuries and such from the battle.

It is a fascinating book, and if you're interested in forensic things, 
you'll really find it good.

One of the contributors in the book, Shannon Novak, lives in the SLC area. 
She came to an event there a few years ago and gave a talk on their 
findings.  Perhaps we could encourage her to come speak again for those who 
may be interested.
