[Artemisia] defenestraters

Well, if you simply *dangle* them out the window, attaching them to the sill with the thumbscrews, you get to prolong the agony. Some defenestraters go out of their way to find interesting ways to throw people from various lofty building orifices. There's even a competition I've attended for that very purpose.

Where do you think I get the ideas for recruiting officers? ;)
