[Artemisia] Where do I look?

Hi, Iris. The first place I'd check out, if I were you, is the 12th century
yahoo! group. They've got some wonderful links for members, so you can
check out various how-to web pages, articles about this and that, etc.. And
some very knowledgeable people who are very gracious and willing to share.
It's got a slight lean towards French styles and fancy bliaut, but
everything else that's pertinent is quite welcome as a topic, too. I lurk
there, and learn TONS!
If you have trouble finding it, email me off-list, and I'll dig up the
specifics for you.
I don't know about a website that does specifically 12th-century stuff, or
specifically Norse stuff, but Historic Enterprises has got a bunch of
accoutrements in addition to their clothing lines. I know that there are
other merchants out there, too, but H.E.'s the one I've looked at most
recently, so that's the one foremost in my mind.
--Maire, currently lurking in the 11th, 12th, 13th, AND 14th
centuries....(anyone else doing new garb for Crown and Uprising???;o)
