[Artemisia] Spammers Deserve Punishment

Let me get this straight...

This spammer is INTENTIONALLY spamming (definitely not somehow so ignorant as 
to be unaware the unsolicited bulk commercial email is bad - hey it COULD 
happen) and abuses her email account PRECISELY and ONLY for that purpose, and 
was hired knowingly by the company being spammed on behalf of to send 
unsolicited bulk commercial email to mailing lists...

And, I note, THEY do not include information on how to unsubscribe from THEIR 
advertisements...as required by federal law as I recall.  (THEY are sending 
US their advertisements.  "Allowing them to join our mailing list" does NOT 
constitute solicitation of their advertisements by any means.)

Admittedly, someone would have to double-check the wording of the "CAN-SPAM" 
act to be sure, but I THINK this spammer meets the terms to be subject to 
criminal sanctions under the act (the lack of inclusion of a way to be 
removed from their mailing list.  After all, all it requires for this 
unrepentent spammer to do is remove "artemisia at lists.gallowglass.org" from 
her list of people they think want to see their noise - there is no reason 
for someone to need to unsubscribe them.  I suspect if this person is a 
careless as it sounds, they will still continue to try to send their spam to 
our mailing list, and while it'll get bounced, it'll still be taking up 
gallowglass.org's bandwidth and processing time.)

This is abusive and sleazy behavior, plain and simple, and I have NO patience 
for spammers.  At the very least, these (insert long string of 
uncharacteristically profane, violent, and obscene words, phrases, and poetic 
images here) should be dragged around each Kingdom's Crown Tourney events 
with their "product" hung around their neck.[1]

As a feeble alternative, alerting abuse at yahoo.com to the situation might at 
least get the spammers outgoing-spam account cancelled and make them go 
through re-subscribing...and if they do we'll know for sure that they are 
unrepentent and have no intention of stopping their potentially criminal 
behavior.

In any case, I'd make sure to spread the word that nobody should ever give 
these sleaze-freaks any money for their "product".

Interesting that they are apparently in southern california (Caid) but the 
lone server that hosts their website and email addresses seems to be in the 
Sacramento area...

[1] - hey, it's a perfectly period punishment - this is essentially the same 
as would be done in period to fraudulent bakers who sold under-weight loaves
