Thea, my dear,  welcome to the strange world of spamming.  One of these few days I'll have to show you some of the stuff I and we get every day.  Some from the simplistic to the utterly vulgar bizzarre.  I have to admit they're getting more creative, unfortunately ISPs are always going to be behind with the cures.

It mixed portions of Tolkie stories with ads for Viagra and other "male enhancement" drugs. I thought that was an interesting approach that totally evaded my rather good spam filters.
