I am featured in closeup shots on "Sunday Morning before the
Battle",latter
part of page 10 & first part of page 11. The photo numbers are:

In addition I can be seen in various action shots throughout the
combats of
cavalry during the two days, but generally at a distance and in crowded
circumstances , such that my green, black and yellow pennant is most
visible
on my upright lance tip. Occasionally my helm is also identifiable
due to
it's uncommon shape and color (dark, textured iron bowl with rounded
top
peak and brown patinated copper brim and nasal bar). My shield is (
as can
be seen in the photo), flat green field with black rim and black
center boss
with gold horsehead and gold crown on the black round boss. Strap rivit
heads are domed and painted black too.
I was riding a gelding named "Jerry" that usually was used by
pre-teens for
riding lessons in the more northerly part of England. This was
Jerry's first
go at reenactment activities of any sort. All things considered, he
did well
for the circumstances. But he wasn't a "War Horse" by a long shot!
Please remember that the advent of formal heraldic rules of color
and metal
use had not been developed at this time in history, so the "misuse"
of them
would not be relavent here. I'm sorry, I can't identify the owner of
the
shield you refer to. That person is unknown to me.
I believe the sequence these photos are presented in reflect the same
sequence that the events depicted, actually folowed. So a chronology of
sorts of the events shown, is possibly revieled by these series of
photos.
