Seasonal  Interpreter Lead 

- Re-enact (interpret) historical activities while  providing accurate, 
entertaining historical information to visitors 
-  Support Volunteer Interpreters by replenishing supplies, mentoring, and  
providing guidance to ensure presentation accuracy 
- Maintain site,  including cleaning and very minor repairs 
- Complete and submit Daily Report  Forms 
- Participate in Special Events, including site presentation and  activities 


Requirements 

- Must be at least 18 years of age  
- Must be friendly, enthusiastic, and enjoy working with the public 
-  Ability to communicate effectively, professionally, and in a welcoming 
manner  with a wide variety of audiences 
- Must be able to stand for long periods of  time 
- Performance and History background helpful 
- Must be able to lift  50 lbs 
- Must be able to work Saturdays 
- Must be available May 10, 2007  through August 18, 2007 

Compensation 

- $9.00 an hour 
- 30-36  hours per week 

Some internship opportunities available, but must be  available for the 
entire season
