I hardly ever post on here but I have something to say on this topic. First 
and foremost as Padraig (sp?) has already stated not all registered sex 
offenders are evil child molesters. How many of you had underage sex??? All 
guilty party's, had you been caught you would have had to register as a sex 
offender. Now one other major point here.....listen closely.....MOST CHILD 
MOLESTERS ARE PARENTS!!! Look at the statistics folks. It happens very close 
to home alot of times in the home. So just because it is a parent watching 
the kids don't always feel safe. I don't have kids and Morgan and I are in 
total agreement on punishment, but I don't even trust people with my dogs! 
This background check is just a tool to aid in helping weed out the OBVIOUS 
AND ALREADY CONVICTED....it does not however weed out the angelic appearing 
people who have just been fortunate to have not been caught.
