[Artemisia] Tent Opinions

For some people (myself included) the decision to buy a modern tent vs. making or buying a pavilion does not always factor around cost. For me, it is ease of set up, weight for lifting and storing, weather resistance, and transportation (you can only cut down pavilion poles so much to fit them in a vehicle *grin*)

I have had better luck with the Target tents or the ones that you can buy at costco than the Ozark Trails brand. I had a tent from Costco (I can't remember the brand name) that lasted 7 SCA camping seasons before one of the fiberglass poles broke. I could have replaced the pole set but decided to upgrade. It was a 10 by 10 dome tent that Taber (my 6'4" tall hubby) could stand up in and it took six poles to set it up.

FWIW,
