Actually, "smalls" is a POST period term for underwear.  And children are children.....

  Yes, I did, that was my attempt at a gentle reminder that "smalls" is the period term for underwear, not children.  The period term for children is, get this, "children".  Weird, huh?

  I picked up a couple tin sheriff stars for our sheriff.  He was giggly when I gave them to him.  A sheriff star is also something the smalls recognize if they should need help.
