[Artemisia] smoke detectors

  I just finished my disaster management training for one of the high rises in Boise.  One thing besides changing out your batteries.  If your smoke detector is over 5 years old, you seriously need to consider changing it out as well.  They also make detectors now for kitchens and for bathrooms, that are not as sensitive to cooking or humidity, but provide a whole lot more coverage, esp. in homes that spread out.
   
  One smoke detector is NOT enough for most homes.

To think that I just met you at fighter practice last month for the
first time!
I had no idea there was a connection with SCA folks I know in Ansteorra
(who sent me the email about the folks involved in the fire in the
Midrealm this morning) and you, who just moved here this Fall.
