It coincides with the Arn Hold event "Best Little Army."  Your lord husband is the current torchlight rapier champion.  If you are both going let me know so that I can plan the format of the tournament in his absence.

Come to the Black Hills this spring and join us in our Quest to make
Camelot live again!
At Quest for Camelot, the New Kingdom of Northshield defends its
borders against the incursions of the Outlands, Calontir, and
Artemesia.

Activities: include light & heavy weapons, thrown weapons, archery,
children's activities, and Arts and Sciences Competitions with the
theme of "Romance in the Middle Ages" including a brewing competition
as well as Bardic and Equestrian.
Feast: Children's Bardic Soup Social
Beef with barley and veggie with barley with donations of breads,
cheese, and other sides
Fees: Site: $5.00 for ages 16 & up. + $3.00 for N.M. $2.00 ages 6
to 15. Five and under free. Camping: $8.00 per tent per night,
families with multiple tents $13.00 per night for all tents. Checks
payable to SCA, Inc. Shire of Schattentor.
Cabins: 20% off in-season prices. 13 cabins will be available. Must
reserve with the Nemo Guest Ranch 1-605-578-2708. Reservations must
be made by May 3rd. A 33% deposit is required at time of reservation.
Dogs have a one time fee of $8.00 and must be on leash at all times.
Horses $8.00 per night, must bring own feed. Water provided. May wish
to bring own panels, site does have some.
Soup:$5.00 for adults $3.00 for children
Site opens at noon Thursday May 17th and closes at noon, May 20th.
Site is discreetly wet with some areas restricted, has showers,
handicapped (please contact event stewards). Some cabins have modern
facilities. Merchants are welcome – no extra fees. Absolutely no in-
ground fires. Above ground fires will be determined by the Fire
Marshal the week of the event.
