[Artemisia] Spring Feast in Sentinels' Keep

Greetings!

 

Saturday, March 24, is soon upon us and all are reminded that Spring
Feast is being held this weekend in the Barony of Sentinels' Keep.  

 

The day will be filled with the Baronial A&S Competition, a rapier
tourney to determine our Baronial Rapier Champion, a wonderful feast
prepared by Mistress Maire (reservations are filled for the feast), and
to top the evening off, Lord Eli from Crystal Crags will be our
auctioneer for the Baronial Auction.

 

The site opens at 9 a.m., entries for the A&S competition need to be
registered and ready for judging by Noon.  Their Excellencies Adne and
Judith with have an opening court at Noon. This will be followed by
lunch and the rapier tourney.  Evening court is planned for 6 p.m.
followed by the feast at 7 p.m. with the auction immediately after the
feast.  Site closes at 10 p.m.  

 

Bring you entries for the competition, your rapiers for the tourney, and
lots of goods for the auction and, of course, coin to spend on the
auction.   

 

Site:  Masonic Temple, 126 E. Broadway, Missoula MT.  The site is
discreetly damp, no spurs may be worn.  

 

Directions: From Interstate 90, take the Van Buren Street exit.  Turn
left and go under the interstate. At the stoplight, (E Broadway), turn
right.  Drive west until you reach Pattee Street (stoplight). Turn left
for a half block and then right into the parking lot.  The Masonic
Temple is across the street to the north.  From the south (I-93), drive
up 93 and turn left on to Higgins Ave. Go north on Higgins, crossing the
river. Turn Right on E. Broadway, go 1 block, turn right on Pattee and
right again into the parking lot. The Masonic Temple is across the
street to the north. Signs will be posted.

 

Site opens at 9 a.m. and closes at 10 p.m.  A&S entries close at Noon.

 

Site Fee:  $ 6.00  with a surcharge of $3.00 for non-members

 

Feast Fee: $10.00,  ages 6-12  $ 5.00 under 5 no charge (includes lunch)
