[Artemisia] socks

I have a pair that fits in my purse, for morning commutes and coffee breaks,
etc.  Currently, it's a Harry Potter pattern....
--Maire, who has to use size 1's just to get a normal 8 stitches/inch, and
who's a bit afraid to know just *how* tiny her needles would have to be for
some period gauges ;o)
