[Artemisia] Estrella War XXIV: Pre-reg DEADLINE/Online Pre-reg Problems

Greetings All!
Bannthegn Penelope Dowell of Avonsford, Pre-registration Registrar for
Estrella War XXIV (Feb 12-18, 2008), announced today that last week's
difficulties with online pre-registrations are now resolved -- just in time
to pre-register by the October 31, 2007 deadline needed to get the MOST
DISCOUNTED entrance fees!

Last week's problem affected all SCA events using the ACCEPS (Ansteorra
Credit Card Event Payment System) for online pre-registration, not just
pre-registrations for Estrella War. The difficulty was caused by Pay Pal
processing of credit cards, and was not an issue with the ACCEPS site
itself. ACCEPS has assured the Estrella War Staff that those experiencing
the pre-registration problems will not have any extraneous fees charged to
their credit card accounts. 

If you had problems processing a pre-registration for Estrella War and have
not received an email confirmation for your pre-registration, or if you have
questions related to online registrations processed in the last week, please

SEVEN IMPORTANT ESTRELLA WAR XXIV DEADLINES:
================ 
1. OCT 31, 2007: Last day to pre-register for MOST DISCOUNTED entrance fee
AND last day to MAIL personal checks for pre-registration

2. NOV 17, 2007: MAIL Merchant Packets

3. DEC 10, 2007: PAY for Gatebook Ads

4. DEC 15, 2007: Pre-register for admission by MAIL with CASHIER'S CHECK or
MONEY ORDER
 
5. JAN 1, 2008: Get Permission for Film Crews/Commercial Photographers to
film

6. JAN 12, 2008: Pre-register ENTRIES in Arts & Sciences Competition

7. JAN 31, 2008: Pre-register for admission ONLINE
