INSTRUCTORS NEEDED: Estrella War XXV Collegium!

 

No SCA event is complete, unless the schedule includes activities devoted to
recreating, displaying, and learning about the pastimes and crafts of the
Middle Ages. So it is that Estrella War XXV (Feb 9-16, 2009) will offer is a
full range of classes for the populace at an Arts and Science Collegium.

 

BUT to have classes, we must first find Instructors!

 

Whatever your art, skill, or special knowledge of the arts and sciences of
the Middle Ages, you are cordially invited to come teach a session for an
hour (or longer) at Estrella War XXV.  Class topics may focus on a medieval
art, skill, science, or your historical research; or on SCA-specific
administrative subjects (like running an SCA event or being an SCA Officer).

 

You can apply online to become an instructor, visit the COLLEGIUM (CLASSES)
page of the www.estrellawar.org website and submit details about you, your
class, and the time you would like to teach directly from the website

The Collegium will be run from Tuesday February 10th to Sunday, Feb 15th.
Classes will start each day at 10:00 AM, with the last class starting at
5:00 PM.

 

We would also welcome input from students.  Are there any subjects you would
really like to learn about?  We will try to recruit specific teachers to
meet your requests.  Please contact the Collegium Coordinator at megatrope @

The Estrella War website (www.estrellawar.org) has a wealth of information
about the Estrella War XXV to be held Feb 9 - 16, 2000 at Canyon Moon Ranch
in Florence, AZ. If you're considering scheduling a winter vacation to
attend the event next year, your planning should start with looking at the
Estrella War website.  Estrella is now a week full of Adventure in the
Middle Ages.  Well worth the trip
