It's actually not all that cold in the building here.  We just came in from
walking a little while ago.  It's still plenty brisk outside.  

As far as inkle looms go, no, they are not a period style loom.  There have
been discussions about it off and on, on the SCA Laurel's list, and there is
agreement that there is no evidence of that type of loom until, I think,
(I'd have to do some checking to be sure) the 17 or 18 hundreds.

I thought inkle looms were period, at least in Scandinavia -- where
Iduna's background is.

I have my tiny heater running today under my desk; when I sit at my
computer, my hands and feet still are cold.
