[Artemisia] Anyone work with metal?

I can't go to Estrella, but I noticed that the A&S competition has a
category for measuring instruments, and I'd really like to make an astrolabe
and use it to do some of the observations Chaucer suggests in his Treatise
On The Astrolabe.  I can do all the calculations necessary to lay it out, I
just don't have any skill at working with metal.  Is there anyone who works
with metal, preferably in the Loch Salann area, who would like to work with
me to make a planispheric astrolabe?
