To the Populace of the most beautiful Kingdom of Artemisia, greetings!

According
to Chinese tradition, the ninth lunar month is the time when
activities are conducted to show respect for the elderly. On this
day, the Chinese people customarily ascend a hill, eat cakes, drink
fine beverages, and admire chrysanthemums. It is a celebration and
veneration of the older generation of the Chinese, where they are
invited to attend celebrations, meetings and watch theatrical
performances. To continue with this fine tradition, Their Royal
Highnesses, Timmur and Tianna, do invite you to attend Their aging
parents at a T'ang Dynasty Grand Festival to be held in august Barony of Gryphon's
Lair.

On
September 13th, the ninth (nearly) full moon of 2008 will rise in the
Artemisian sky and Their Royal Highnesses invite you to attend Their
Festival of the Ninth Moon.

The site shall open for setup at 9AM,
with the celebration of the Festival beginning at 10 AM.

Tournaments
shall be conducted throughout the day to determine the greatest of
our warriors, so they shall be named King's Champion, Queen's
Champion and Kingdom Rapier Champion. There shall be a round table
discussion on the experience of being Royalty, as well as a dessert
buffet featuring bardic performances. Please bring a dessert (period or not) with a list of ingredients so that those with food allergies may make informed choices.

Directions:
The site is the Ogden City Amphitheater, located at the corner of
25th and Grant in historic downtown Ogden. Take the King's Highway
(I-15) to Gryphon's Lair (Ogden), exit #343 and head east 1.8 miles
to Wall Avenue. Turn right heading south .5 miles to 25th
Street. Turn left heading east .4 miles and the Amphitheater and
park are on your right. Parking is on the road as well as the
southwest corner of the park.

In Service to the Dream,

Elfwyn the Dane and Baron Thorvald Ulfhethnar
