For those of us with TMS (Teflon mind syndrome - what goes in slides right
back out), could you perhaps give a few emails for those contacts you
mentioned or even the general website address? I could probably look it up but
in doing so I might forget what I was searching and why (ooooh look
pretty website let's go look at it and get back to whatever we were doing
later)

Thank you for helping we mentally handicapped.

Hellooooo Cleveland... Are you ready to rock?

Wait. Wrong opening.

Greetings Artemisia... Are you ready to rise up?

Uprising XXIII is a mere 2 months away, and because I have what I can
only assume is a severe psychological disorder, I agreed to be the
Master Schedule Coordinator for what is generally the largest event in
the Kingdom each year. As anyone who has attended an Uprising (or
two, or fourteen, or twenty-two) knows, there is a lot to do. But, to
do things, people have to know what is going on.

So...

Do you want to give people something to do at Uprising? Of course you
do. Do you want people to know about it? Of course you do!

Well, here's how you do it...

Do you want to run a tourney? Contact HL Marcello (for armored) or HL
John (for Rapier) or HE Robert (for archery). Give them your idea and
preference for when. If they approve it, I will work out the schedule
with them.

Do you want to teach a class? Contact Lady Mairsile. She'll figure
out the class schedule and all I have to do is put it with everything
else.

Do you want to do something else? Like say, a cooking competition (Hi
Cas!) or a Grand Ball (Hi Tangl!)? Contact the Autocrats (for
permission, probably really easy unless what you want to do is way out
there) AND me (for when you want said activity to see if I can work it
in the schedule).

Now, while all of this applies mainly to public events that require
the public spaces (like the Grand Pavilion) it does also apply to
public events being held in private camps that you may want
advertised. For example, if Broken Rock wants to host a party and
have it on the schedule, or Barony Ashton wants to host a Scotch
tasting, or Gryphon's Lair a belly dance competition ... it can be put
on the schedule for all to see.

Items completely inappropriate to the schedule will be denied. Please
allow six to eight week for delivery. Offer void outside of the Known
World. Shipping and handling charges may apply. Your mileage may
vary. Beware of pickpockets and loose women. The sum of the squares
of the sides of a right triangle are equal to the square of the
hypotenuse.

And all that jazz.

Conchobhar
