Tangle-baby, I'd be honored to go head-to-head in a competition with
you...or judge your stuff! Bring it, sweet-cheeks! Bring it!

My "I'd love to finish this for next year's A&S" list looks something like:
1. A late 16th century embroidered camicia in the Venetian style (yes, that
one...only been 10 years!)
2. A late 16th century Venetian dress (complete outfit)
3. Hand-knit silk stockings for the Venetian outfit (based on the Eleanor of
Toledo stockings)
4. Hand-spun, hand-knit Irish stockings, based on an extant pair in Dublin
5. A 13th century German felted hat (as depicted in the Manesse Codex)
6. A paper on the history and usage of monochrome embroidery
7. A hand-made 14th century "Gothic fitted gown" (with buttons)
8. Some sort of complex project involving first carding, then spinning, and
then weaving fabric from the wool of Icelandic sheep (with the aim of using
one of the drafts from Yorvik finds)
9. An assortment of period spice and herb blends
10. An extended look at various period mustards (having been inspired by
Constance's pinenut candy)
11. Whatever else catches my wandering eye in the next year...oooh! look!
narrow wares! Shiny! must do!
