Yes it is for any soldier serving our country in or out of the US and are
unable to attend Uprising. I have Stephen (KC) on the list. I suggest a box
or something to go with the picture so everyone has a place to put Items if
you are not there when they drop them off.

I asked is this for those serving overseas or serving in ther services at
this time and will not be able to attend, but because of some spamming and
probs haven't received a message stating other wise.

With my son just about to graduate AIT next month he will not be able to
attend Uprising and was so hoping to, I will be bringing his picture and
hanging it up in camp, so at least he will be with us in spirit.

cuz it has to do with a crazy WY boy who is close to Anna got set to deploy
a few months ago, and another entered boot camp, so she asked and decided to
start this. I would just hope now it doesn't stop.

and to answer your question. Nothing has been done for those coming home,
perhaps someone with more knowledge about getting information about people
coming home should start it up (hint hint... :) )

I am sorry this is coming late for some, but i'm glad someone is doing
something.

[Stepping onto soapbox]

You know, I feel this is a wonderful thing that's happening, but isn't it
starting just a tad late? We've been in Iraq for over 6 years and have had
members of our fair kingdom since the first day (Gregor Walences, mka SPC
Jake
Leaf, 173d Airborne, was part of the initial assault). So why has it taken 6
years for us to recognize those who are off in service to King and Country?

And on a related issue, have we in Artemisia done or planned anything to
welcome back our returned soldiers, sailors and airmen? If not, we should.
It doesn't even have to be anything fancy, just some way for us to say
welcome home.
