  the answer to a hot day, ice cream and a diabetic.....sliding scale
insulin....no biggie.

  Give yourself another unit or two and eat all the ice cream you want!
Just check you levels 

  actually sugar free is just as bad as real sugar ice cream.

  its the carbs that convert to glycogen and then into glucose and
then.....well you know.

 

    maybe a sugar free, carb free, fat free, guilt free ice cream....

    Yep, its called water

    that is the gripe about diabetes.....you really can't have any fun with
it.  ;o(

Is there a possiblity of him having any sugar free ice creams there. We 
have a diabetic in our camp, and I am sure there are others that will be 
there also.
