The plans so far are to have a pavilion or shade stand wherein can be
found all scheduled and ongoing youth activities. In this way, parents will be
able to search for their youth in one spot and those of a younger age can
find age appropriate activities throughout the day.

The formal (timed) activities will be as follows:

1. An individual "quest" for information. Forms for this can be picked up
at the gate and completed any time before evening court. There is a fine
and full prize chest being offered to the luck winner who has the highest
number complete answers This will be awarded at the end of the event at
evening court.
Be sure to be there

There will also be a slightly more difficult team quest which will
tentatively start at 2 PM and end at around 4 PM. The team will have to identify
or draw certain devices which will be at the event as well as identifying
certain well known persons present and performing pre-required tasks. The
winning team will receive a large basket overly full of candies and prizes
enough to satisfy every member of the team.

There will also be some youth combat activities offered and overseen by
Lord Padruig. Timing on these activities will be announced later and
schedules may be rearranged to accommodate the combat activities. Please remind
all interested youth to bring their armor and to make time to get it
inspected prior to participating in the youth combat activities.

All youth activities will be utilizing materials which are advertised to
be "washable", however, we will also be offering extra large men's t-shirts
as garb covers so that well made and beautiful garb we don't want stained
or otter wise ruined.

In addition to the "formal" activities, the following:

Leather Working
Medieval Headpiece and nosegay creation
Clay Modeling
Shield Painting
Castle Painting
Art of all kinds including - Drawing, painting, watercolors,
markers, crayons, oil Pastels, charcoals, colored pencils, chalk and easels. (what fun we
will have huh?)

Clay Modeling
Mancala
Bubbles
Kazoos
Soft Rocks
Plague Rats
Castle creation and siege
Origami
Planting and gardening
Hospitality Patrol

We will also have Hydration (water and koolaid) and modern and medieval
snacks as well as sunscreen and first aid kits available as needed. We would
prefer not to have to use the latter but will have them available just in
case.

We would invite any and all adults, esp. parents and guardians to join us
in our fun and in keeping us "legal" with enough adults to oversee the
activities We can guarantee that you will have a fun filled time no matter how
much time you can spare. There will be tables and chairs and comfortable
conversation areas set up for adults within the area so come rest and relax
while molding our next generation
