Subject: [Artemisia] Morgans Mead Recipe

Morgan,
the only variant I can think of would be the type of honey and yeast, as
mead is fermented honey in water, and added fruit makes it a melomel.

I did find a recipe,
http://www.celtnet.org.uk/recipes/cym/fetch-recipe.php?rid=gwin-dail-derw
but finding english oak leaves may be difficult, but the raisins for the
fruit I found interesting.

The Beernut has oak chips, the closest I can find to leaves locally. Does
this help?

Now for drinking, water, honey and champagne yeast, possibly nutrients, oh,
and lots of patience. -Reginald

P.S.  I found this site entertaining http://www.solorb.com/mead/
