[Artemisia] Blade grabbing

Greeting Rapier Fighters



The official word is that blade grabbing is not and never will be practiced in the Kingdom of Artemisia.

This was a misprint on the blade type list and I am in the process to correct this with the SRM.

Please stand by as there are a few corrections to made.

Well...

At one point last year Maestro Azir *did* approve blade grasping for a 
limited percentage of the rapier fighters (i.e., those belonging to a 
certain Order with a regalia consisting of fabric reflective of the full 
visible spectrum) if both fighters agreed before hand and the marshal 
was made aware that it would be used prior to the bout.  This was to be 
experimental to determine if the fighters of the Kingdom could observe, 
learn, be taught, etc. how to do blade grasping safely.  To date, I 
think (in that time) it's happened *maybe* once.  And of course, through 
the Principality and early Kingdom days, the rules on blade grasping 
switched (in my memory) about every other week...

Of course, we are also listed as not having a separate melee 
authorization, and the last time I looked at my auth card...
