Southern Regional Collegium—Last update!

Now that our mighty Kingdom once again has heirs, we can turn our attention to learning new skills and enhancing our Kingdom! Come and join us for this year’s Southern Regional Collegium, to be held next Saturday, April 10th, at St. James Episcopal Church in Midvale, UT.

Site opens at 9 a.m. and closes at 8 p.m. Classes begin at 10 a.m. and end at 5 p.m., after which there will be Court at Their Majesties’ or Excellencies’ whim. Lunch will be provided as part of your site fee.

This event is jointly hosted by the Barony of Loch Salann, the Barony of Gryphon’s Lair, the Province of Arrows’ Flight and the Shire of Cote du Ciel.

The class schedule is now set and ready to go*. We strongly encourage everyone to go to the event web site and print your own class schedules & class catalogs for the day, as we will only have a very few number of copies on site in order to reduce printing costs.

I would like to personally thank all of the many teachers who have volunteered their time and talents to make this Collegium schedule so remarkable! Thank you.

The event web site is: http://www.arrows-flight.org/collegium2010
Both the class schedule and the class catalog are available for easy printing in PDF format using the links on the event site.

Other important information:
· Master RanthulfR from the MidRealm will be in attendance to teach; he is skilled in medieval illumination methods and will be sharing his considerable expertise on the subject. Kids interested in RanthulfR’s How to Draw Dragons class should bring pencils, paper, and erasers.
· Earl Mika Longbow will be visiting from the Outlands; he is one of the Knowne World’s best archers and will be hosting several great archery track classes
· There will be a youth track; parents/guardians are required to keep ‘line of sight’ on all youth aged 12 and under, and/or have a designated guardian present at all youth activities. In other words, please watch your kids.
· Your site fee includes lunch made by Lady Flora! Yum!
The event will be held at St. James Episcopal Church, 7486 Union Park Ave., Midvale, UT.
Directions: From I-15, take exit 298 to merge onto I-215 E. Take exit 9, Union Park Avenue. Turn right (south) from the exit ramp, and continue to follow Union Park Avenue for approximately 1 mile. The church will be on the right, across the street from an I-HOP. | Map

Adults: $10.00
Youth (5-15): $5.00
Children 4 and under: free
Family Cap: $30.00

(*I should qualify that and say the schedule is as set and ready to go as we can possibly make it, but please understand that it’s still subject to change. Updates will be posted to the web site up until Wednesday when we have to start printing stuff. Please check the class registration table upon your arrival for the most up-to-date information. J)

P.S. I would like to express my gratitude to Lady Ashe’el, Lady Marguerite, Lady Satya, Lord Rodrigo, Lord Iuean, Lord Bjorn, Lady Flora, and Her Ladyship Aurora, without whom there would be no Collegium. Thank you so much!
