Well, while not a Middle Eastern Arts Laurel, I am a Laurel.  I have danced mundanely for more than 10 years, so what is it that you need from me?  I do have a few obligations at Uprising, so when were you thinking of doing this meeting?

Great- I'm glad people are interested!

Am I hearing correctly that there is serious interest in classes for historical clothing, dance, dance specifically for men, and dance etiquette?  I don't mind teaching my Middle Eastern clothing class again, or the Egyptian dance ones, if anyone is interested in those.  I'm sure we can persuade Ash to teach her etiquette class too- bribe her with treats?

I was really thinking of something outside of a class setting this year; more of a meet and greet to get to know each other and talk about where Middle Eastern Dance is headed in Artemisia.  Share our research, dance philosophy, and thoughts with each other.  I know there are a few of us who teach in the mundane world as well who might like to create more of a network with other SCA dance teachers in the kingdom.

Should we find a laurel to sponsor/mediate a discussion circle?  It would be nice to have a set of specific discussion topics to keep on track.   Once we get all this figured out, I will send in a proposal to the autocrat and see if we can get something on the schedule.
