[Artemisia] Bronzehelm 12th Night - final info

Greetings one and all!

I am posting this on behalf of the event steward:

The time is nearly at hand for Bronzehelm's annual 12th Night 
celebration. Saturday, Jan 9, 2010, will see the Shire celebrate it's 
birthday. Research has determined that this will be the 27th birthday of 
the group's first event.

Site is the 1st Congregational Church, downtown Billings, Montana -  310 
N 27th St - in the basement. Site opens at 10 am and closes at 10 pm. A 
feast will be served at 7 pm.

The Crown Prince and Princess of Artemisia will be attending (since this 
is their home group!) and the event will have a color theme of red and 
white in their honor.

The rapier fighters and heavy fighters will have tournaments during the 
afternoon, which will include a best death competition to be judged by 
the audience. At least two merchants will be present, and one class on 
knitting has been promised. There will also be children's activities 
galore - the Princess' Tea and Chival-wee will be held around 12:30 pm, 
before the tournaments start.

Please bring your feast gear and finest table settings, but be aware 
that the site has a restriction on candles - no open flames, all candles 
must be enclosed in some fashion. We also cannot put anything on the 
walls, so banner stands will be appreciated.

The feast cap of 75 has been reached and a waiting list has been 
started. With the current weather conditions, however, it is possible 
that some of our expected out-of-town guests will not be able to attend, 
so don't despair!
