#1        Volunteers of all kinds, for all kinds of purposes, at all kinds
of different times and dates are needed for Estrella War.  Contact Lady
Henriette at volunteers at estrellawar.org or go to Volunteer point when you
get to War and find a job, a time and a place to help out. Thanks!



The Watch needs volunteers for Saturday's Equestrian Processional.  Contact
Lady Henriette, the Volunteer coordinator at volunteers at estrellawar.org or
Lord Johannes, the Watch coordinator  at thewatch at estrellawar.org



#2        If you want to participate in the Combat Cookery Contest at
Estrella War, you must submit an Intent to Participate no later than January
31st.  Email intent to field a Team to the Combat Cookery Coordinator, Lady
Freydis at skmaher1 at yahoo.com by Januray 31.  Official rules for the
competition are located on the Period Demo Center Web Page of the Estrella
War web site.



#3        This year's Artisans' Showcase will be held on Sunday under the
Grand Court Pavilion with Artisan's registration and set-up at 9:30am. The
Showcase will begin at 10:00 am and continue until 1pm. All artisans are
highly encouraged to attend, whether or not you participate in the display.
If you have pre-registered, see the steward upon arrival for your table
assignment and any other information. NOTE: artisans who pre-register will
have guaranteed spaces; remaining space will be distributed first come,
first served. To those of the most noble Order of the Laurel, please attend
and show your support for the artisans.  Please see one of the Artisans'
Showcase staff to sign in prior to visiting with the artisans after 10:00
am. Please direct questions to
