descriptions below is as follows: 
Class Schedule:

Descriptions: 
  
Class: Basic to intermediate Drumming 
Instructor: Talanesia 
Duration: 50 minutes 
Cost: Free 
Limit: none 
Description: 
If enough intermediate drummers attend we will go over drumming as a group with 
beginnings and endings and drumming in rounds.  Please bring your own drum.  
There will only be a couple of loaner drums. 
  
Activity/Class: Tanagrams 
Instructor:  Bethoc 
Duration: 50 minutes 
Cost: Free 
Limit:  20 
Description:  
Decorate your own tanagram set.  See how many tanagram puzzles you can solve 
using the 7 pieces in your puzzle set. 

  
Class: Middle Eastern Costume Overview 
Instructor: Zafirah 
Duration: 50 minutes 
Cost: Free 
Limit: 10 
Description: 
The region we call the “Middle East” covers a vast region of varying climate, 
political and religious culture, and diverse life styles both nomadic and 
civilized.  What did people wear and when did they wear it?  This class is very 
brief overview of regional clothing during SCA period to give a person a 
starting point in developing a Middle Eastern persona. 

  
Class: Horse Safety and Ettiquette 101 
Instructor: HL Johanne Kathrijn die Waeyer 
Duration: 1 hour (could possibly go longer) 
Cost: No Charge 
Limit 25 
Age: Old enough to behave appropriately 
Description: 
Interested in Equestrian Games? In order to enjoy horses fully, you have to know 
how to be safe around them and how to behave with the owners. Basic safety will 
be covered, as well as how to choose your mount, endear yourself to the owners 
of the horses you use, and other fun things. You'll also learn about how a horse 
thinks and how to get along with him. 


Class: Intro To Falconry 
Instructor: Takeyama Nakayoshi 
Duration: 50 minutes 
Cost: $5 
Limit: 5 
Description: 
Hands on introduction to the medieval sport of falconry. Participants will make 
a leash and set of jesses that are and were used in falconry, and get to handle 
and learn basic care of a bird of prey. 
  
Class: From Bees to Brews 
Instructor: Kvelduf Lohipoika 
Duration: 50 minutes 
Cost: $10 
Limit: 30 people 
Age Limit: 21 and up. * 

Description: 
*Minors are allowed to observe, but will not be allowed to participate. 
This class will explain the process of brewing. Selecting your 
materials, equipment, and even settling on a taste. Samples of some 
brews will be provided for a tasting.  Handout will be available with list 
of required brewing equipment, suggested ingredients, and some recipes 
NOT to try. 

NOTE: MODERN ID REQUIRED. 
Materials required: all materials will be available for sale or trade. I 
will have enough for 10 people. 1-1gallon glass jug, 5-7 lbs of honey, 
fruit or spice of your choice(optional), air lock, sanitizers, and a 
drinking vessel. 
  
Class: Basic to intermediate Middle Eastern Dance 
Instructor: Talanesia 
Duration: 50 minutes 
Cost: Free 
Limit: none 
Description: 
This class will be adjusted to the skill level of those who attend.  If we have 
a large group of beginners will start with the basics.  If there are 
intermediate dancers the class will focus on more complicated concepts.
