[Artemisia] Feast Menu for Harvest Court in Sentinels Keep

Greetings to all!

Harvest Court will be held in the Barony of Sentinels' Keep on October 23 at St. Anthony's Church.  Please check the Sage Advice or the Barony's website for details of the event.

For luncheon we will be serving two soups, one with meat and one vegetarian (tbd) along with bread, hard cooked eggs and seasonal fruits.

The menu for the feast, 15th and 16th Century Italian, includes:

Bread
Fresh cheese
Crushed Fava beans

1st  Course:
Florentine-style meat in a baking dish (beef cooked with wine, vinegar, spices, onions, raisins and prunes)
Cauliflower with an orange sauce
Salad
Cherry torte

2nd Course:
Endored roast chicken with 2 sauces (French-style sauce for chicken and a lemon sauce)
Fried Squash
A Dish of a Thousand Pageboys (pasta)
Plum torte

Feast reservations are due by October 16.  Please contact me to make your reservations or for questions on dietary concerns.

The feast is limited to 80 and costs $10 per person, children 7-12 half price, children 6 and under free.
