Obituary

STEVEN OLSEN | Visit Guest Book

Steven Lee Olsen 2/3/1946 ~ 9/12/2010 AE7AC Steven Lee Olsen, beloved husband,
son, brother, uncle, and friend, died on Sunday after a courageous battle with
pancreatic cancer. His first word was "light," and he was well on his way
towards a career in electrical engineering when, as a toddler, his first phrase
was "plug it in." Steve worked at the U. of U. Chemistry Department, Hospal, and
Datachem Laboratories. He was proud of the fact that his own company, Red Rock
Analog Design, Inc., specialized in the remote control of demining vehicles for
the military. Steve never saw a mountain that he didn't want to climb, nor met a
person that he wasn't willing to help. Steve will long be remembered for his
compassion, his intelligence, his unfailing courtesy, and his courage. Funeral
services will be held on Friday, September 17, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the
Sugarhouse Stake Center, 1621 South 1100 East, Salt Lake City, Utah. A viewing
will be held Thursday, the night before, from 6:0
0 to 8:00 p.m., and before the service on Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., at
the same location. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Steve's name to
The American Cancer Society , 1-800-227-2345 or www.cancer.org. Please share
condolences at www.serenicare.com

Subject: [Artemisia] Very sad news

Captain Steven de Junius's ship was wrecked off the shores and although he and
many of his crew were able to make it to land, his injuries were too sever for
him to recover.

In other words

It is with a heavy heart the I pass on to you the news of the death of Mistress
Anne de Junius's husband Steven.

The viewing will be announced in paper, but should be Thursday and the funeral
Friday. I am sure Mistress Anne would appreciate any contacts of condolence.

Mst. Leah de Spencer
