Each year at Estrella War, a Collegium of Classes is offered for the
populace. Classes are open to any attendees at Estrella War, are one
or two hours long, and are scheduled over several days. They are free
unless a materials fee is requested in the class description. Class
schedules and descriptions will be posted on this website, and
provided in the Gatebook you receive when you arrive at the event.
Some classes may also have a class limit for the number of students
and/or an age limit for attendees.

Collegium class subjects vary from year-to-year, depending on the
instructors and their areas of interest, but always focus on a
medieval art, skill, or knowledge; or on SCA-specific administrative
subjects (like running an SCA event or being an SCA Officer).
Examples of classes offered in the past include all forms of textile
arts, cheese making, scientific instruments, costuming, embroidery,
alchemy, bardic performing arts (dance, song, storytelling, poetry,
theatrical recitation), feast preparation, tent making, French seams,
calligraphy and illumination, smithing, running an SCA event, and
more.

INSTRUCTORS NEEDED!

Whatever your art, skill, or special knowledge of the arts and
sciences of the Middle Ages, you are cordially invited to join us for
an hour (or longer) instructing a captivated audience at Estrella War
XXVII. Classes will be scheduled from Tuesday (2/15/2011) to Sunday
(2/20/2011), starting each day at 9:00 am and ending at 6:00 pm.

Sign Up Online
To become an instructor, submit an online A&S Teacher Sign-up Form. A
confirmation that your Instructor information has been received will
be sent by the Collegium (Classes) Coordinator soon after you submit
your information and your class is accepted.

Instructors who wish their classes listed in the Estrella War XXVI
Gatebook must have submitted their Instructor Registration Forms, and
have received a confirmation from the Collegium Coordinator, no later
than last November 30th, 2010. Instructors who missed this deadline
are invited to submit requests to teach, and their classes will be
accepted. However, their classes will only be listed on the class
schedules posted at the event, and on this website.

Always in Service,
HLordship Raven Mayne
KMoAS
