[Artemisia] Something to say

I had written a short note on concussions that will be in next months
'Sage'.
It seems almost frightening that there is a concussion discussion, just
before it is published.
We all need to keep in mind that head blows are serious, can cause shock
which kills, and can have like changing consequences.
Please, everyone lets address the causes now, not after something truly
nasty happens.

I have been out of armored combat for a little bit (due to much needed armor upgrades and minor repair) but I watched a few tournaments where a shot looked good on the opponent and was ignored. My version of it looked good and probably should have been taken was the fact that when the blow was dealt the opponent was thrown back a few steps. (Mind you neither fighter was fighting with a shield to displace the blow.) If a potentially killing blow will make the person take a step or two back to avoid falling and that shot was not taken then maybe there are many out there who should take a newbie how to hit safely and what is a good blow course. Not saying that we as fighters have no idea how to fight, but maybe we need to step back and relearn the basics. As I have also been on the "sidelines wishing I could continue due to injury" scenario, I completely understand your point of view and agree. Something needs to be done to bring the dream back in to a safer fun. Just my two bits.
