CLASS LIST UPDATED!

The Barony of Arn Hold would invite all gentles to a day of higher learning.

Scholars from throughout the Kingdom will be sharing their knowledge and prowess
with one and all.  HE Sagan von Osten-see will be hosting a “Hard Suit” Fighting
Seminar.  We have promise of Equestrian, Cooking,  Costuming, Archery, and
Thrown Weapons classes.   We would welcome all instructors to please share their
historical knowledge and contact the Class Coordinator regarding the class you
would like to teach.  The Laurels of Arnhold would challenge all students and
apprentices to teach a class!

HE Jofrior and crew have promised a comforting luncheon of breads, soups and
deliciousness throughout the afternoon so individuals do not have to leave site
while classes are going!

The site for the Sunday after Collegium will be the Scofield Ranch in Emmett (a
map is available by following the Map link at the top of this page).

No equestrian insurance was secured for the event weekend, so we are unable to
have any equestrian activities Sunday.

The Schedule for Sunday

Site opens at 9:30 am

Archery and Thrown Weapons Range opens at 10:00 am

Fighter Practice begins at 10:00 am

Rapier Practice is welcome to join us at any time

The Troll Battle Archery & Thrown Weapons Competition will begin at 11:30am

We will be having a Potluck Lunch at the house at 1pm. Feel free to bring meat
for the grill or anything you'd like to share. BYOB and any other drinks
you'd like.

A few notes regarding the Sunday site

	1. •The Payette River is getting closer to flood stage this time of year, so
please remember absolutely no children near the water at any time and that
includes all irrigation ditches. Any found will be asked to leave site, no
second chances.

	2. •There are also cattle, horses and lots of blooming foliage here, so those
of you allergic to any or all of these, bring the strongest stuff you've got.
No one is allowed anywhere near the livestock or barns.

	3. •There is no charge for activities on Sunday but please remember to check in
and sign the waver form to participate when you get here. Parking is available
both at the house and upriver at the range and practice area- follow the signs.

The Troll Battle

Lord John of York has put together a battle scenerio for both archers and thrown
weapons people to participate in together that favors those who can do both.
There will be a clout shoot, followed immediately by rounds of scenario target
archery, knives, axes and javelin. Its a fantastic shoot that he has put a lot
of time into to make enjoyable for all, with prizes for the best performers to
be given at the potluck. If you are better at one skill than the other, please
feel free to conscript your favorite archery or thrown weapons specialist and
make a team of it. Instructions will be given at the beginning of the shoot and
it should be excellent, so meet us at the range at 11:30 am to kill some trolls
and rescue some sheep.
