Harken All! Listen closely!

Hear a distant murmur of the Drums of War echoing through the Gila River
Valley, deep in the Heart of Atenveldt. For there, in November upcoming (Nov
10-14, 2011), the forces of the Barony of Tir Ysgithr and the Barony March
of Mons Tonitrus muster to hone the arts of glorious combat, on both land
and sea! There the Warriors of Atenveldt train for the defense of Our Lands,
as they meet for SOUTHERN CRUSADES XIII - Corsairs and Corsets/Pirates and
Princesses! (Full details at www.southerncrusades.org)

As the heavy infantry of the Atenveldt Army musters to defend the fortress
walls, know that many are needed to support their honorable task. For the
defense of the Land of the Sun cannot be assured without those proficient
with rapier, bow and arrow, or the efforts of those who nurture and care for
the Warriors of Atenveldt. Come November, bring your weapons, your families,
bread and the comforts of the hearth, to Winkleman, AZ.

Winkleman Flats is a 42 acre campground on the banks of the Gila River.
Enormous cottonwood and eucalyptus trees provide shade throughout the
campground, and potable water is available from spigots on-site. There are
limited permanent showers and permanent restrooms. Six RV hookups are also
available on a reserved basis (contact Site Steward for reservations and
restrictions). The site is wet, but glass bottles are not allowed. Fires
and smoking are also allowed, however are subject to current fire
restrictions. There are motels within 9 miles of the site. We will enforce a
city-required minors' curfew calling for children under the age of 18 be in
their own camp or escorted by an adult after 10 p.m. Pets are allowed on
leashes. Site opens at noon, Thursday Nov 10th & closes noon, Monday Nov
14th. IF YOU PRE-REGISTER, YOU CAN GET IN AT 8 A.M. ON THURSDAY. Camping
space is 'first come, first served,' so getting in early is helpful!
