I agree that there is safety in numbers, so room for more than one family unit would be very good. Masonry is a proven building material, and fired clay shingles are fire resistant. Obstacles to prevent numbers from rushing in such as walls, hedge vegetation and ditches come to mind. Being a good neighbor would be a good idea also. -Reginald
